Rhodium-Plated Connectors

For clean and reliable connectivity with the cartridge and headshell, the terminal pins are finished with rhodium plating.
Compared to gold and other plating materials, rhodium offers a thinner yet harder plating layer, significantly reducing any sonic coloration making it an ideal choice for audiophiles who demand purity and precision.

Ultra Fine Conductor with Copper Strands Under 50μ

The CL-1 uses carefully selected high-purity copper wire, made up of countless strands each thinner than 50 microns.
This ultra-fine structure achieves the perfect balance between signal fidelity and flexibility.
By using pure copper only – with no mixed metals such as silver – the CL-1 provides a smooth, natural tonal balance and mates beautifully with all types of phono cartridges.

Terminal Pin Sizes

The inner diameter of the terminal pin's color-coded end is φ1.2 mm while the opposite end is φ1.0 mm. These sizes ensure compatibility with not only all Dynavector MC models but also most cartridges and headshells available in the market.
If the fit is too tight due to slight variances in terminal specifications, we recommend a gentle adjustment using a pin tool or awl prior to installation.
